Engagée dans une réflexion sur l’enseignement, la recherche et la diffusion du savoir en science politique dans l’espace francophone, l’AFSP s’engage à ouvrir un panel à une association partenaire lors de chacun de ses congrès.
Issue d’une collaboration avec l’Association marocaine de science politique (AMSP), cette Section thématique prendra la forme d’une table-ronde évoquant les objets, recherches et méthodes privilégiées par la science politique au Maroc, ainsi que les formes empruntées par son institutionnalisation progressive. Elle abordera les conditions de l’autonomisation d’une science politique « marocaine » et les logiques institutionnelles, (sous-)disciplinaires et politiques qui la sous-tendent.
Elle permettra de mettre en évidence les défis du développement de la discipline, dans un contexte où les recherches et formations en SHS font l’objet d’un fort dynamisme et sont plébiscitées par les étudiants, tout en étant conditionnées par un environnement social et politique contraignant et par l’évolution de la place du Maroc dans son environnement régional et mondial.

As part of its ongoing reflection on teaching, research and the dissemination of political science knowledge in the French-speaking world, the AFSP is committed to opening up a panel to a partner association at each of its congresses. The result of a collaboration with the Moroccan Political Science Association (AMSP), this Thematic Section will take the form of a round-table discussion evoking the subjects, research and methods favoured by political science in Morocco, as well as the forms taken by its gradual institutionalisation. It will address the conditions for the autonomy of a ‘Moroccan’ political science and the institutional, (sub)disciplinary and political logics that underpin it.  It will highlight the challenges facing the development of the discipline, in a context where research and training in social and human sciences are highly dynamic and popular with students, while at the same time being conditioned by a restrictive social and political environment and by the evolution of Morocco’s place in its regional and global environment.
